Alda "Jim" Gloyd,67, of Blanchester, died Tuesday (June 8, 2010) at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington.
She was born November 2, 1942 in Harlan, KY, the daughter of the late Robert J. McKamey and Grace Lee Childs.
She is survived by three children, Tamara (Brad) Johnson of Clarksville, Tony (Alicia) Gloyd of Knoxville, TN, and Tina Lopez of Wylie, TX; nine grandchildren, Jessica (Scott) Marsh, Melissa Johnson, Aubrey Johnson, Adrianna Johnson, Brittany Gloyd, Brandon Gloyd, Lauren Reasoner, Sierra Lopez and Taylor Lopez; two great-grandchildren, Ruby and Violet Marsh; and five siblings, Chris Akers, June Collett, Jewel Crews, Velma Gloyd and Linda Adkins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Funeral services held at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home in Blanchester with Scott Marsh officiating. Burial in Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
