Allyson was a junior varsity cheerleader (varsity in her later high school years), being the only cheerleader who could actually do a backward somersault in midair. She later went on to the University of Oklahoma, where she was a varsity cheerleader all four years. She married her college sweetheart, Grant Woody, after graduation from OU and had two children, Zack and Kayli. Around the turn of the 21st century, Ally was diagnosed with leukemia. After a long, courageous battle, she passed away on April 15, 2002. She leaves behind her husband, her children, her parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many friends. She enjoyed spending time with them, especially her children, and is greatly missed by all who knew her.
