FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR
MRS. JOHN WELDING
Funeral services were held at 9:30 a m,
Tuesday morning , at St. Mary's Catholic
church for Mrs. John Welding, who died
Sunday morning at St. Joseph's Home for
Aged. Msgr Bosheck officiated and burial
was in St. Michael's cemetery.
Mrs. Welding, nee Anna Grewe was born
in Haaren, Westphalia, Germany. She came
to America at the age of 18 and was
married February 7, 1884, to John
Welding. To them were born seven children
of whom two of them, Mrs. Grover Nitz of
West Point, and Mrs. J. B. Liekhus of
Anaheim, Cal, are surviving. She is
preceded in death by five children,
Frances, Mrs. Ed Brumm, Herman, Edward,
Ella and John, who died in infancy; and
her husband, who died June 26, 1934.
Survivors beside her two daughters are
23 grandchildren and 37 great grand-
children.
Mrs. Freda Welding of Omaha and Mr-Mrs
Ed Nitz of Wayne attended the funeral.
