Alvarado, Christine (nee Frausto) "Aunt Tina," age 66, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 17, 2013 with her loving family by her side. Survived by her loving husband, Moises Alvarado; her siblings, Patricia (late Tomas) Ponce, Pedro Jr., Paul (Sharon), Rick Sr. (Pam) Frausto, Marie Therese (Abel) Alvarado, Linda (Marciano) Luna; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad (nee Quiroz) and Pedro Frausto Sr.; her siblings, Rudolph Frausto, Sara Lopez, Ralph Frausto, and Beatrice Lara. Tina helped raise many nieces and nephews and was seen as a mother figure to her whole family. She was a loving wife, sister, and aunt and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she has touched. A Celebration of Tina's life will begin on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home chapel then moving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
