Juanita Bailey 79 of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, February 20, 2013. She was born July 13, 1933 in Fayetteville, NC.
Juanita is survived by her children Carolyn Bailey Williams, son-in-law Donald, Cathy Ashley, son-in-law Thomas. Five grandchildren, Carl, Carla, Carolnita, Maurice, Donnell. Five great grandchildren, Jovon, Nicco, Monica, Lovely, Damazia; brother, Paul and Barbara Long of Hope Mills, NC, brother, Salais and Delois Long of Fayetteville, NC; Sister Jannie Bell and Allen Winfree of Richmond, VA, Sister, Dorothy Long of Bronx, NY; sister-in-law, Alberta Long of Newark, NJ. Lots of nieces and nephews, cousins, dear friends old and new.
Juanita is preceded in death by her Parents Walter and Myria (Mother), Lizzie (stepmother) Long, her husband Johnie J. Bailey Sr., her son, Johnie J. Bailey Jr, great grandson Devon Bailey and her two brothers Acy and Walter Long Jr., one sister Lizzie May Long.
Visitation review Friday, March 1, 2013 from 5-8pm at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11am at Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 9516 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria.
