A native of Douglas, Ga., she had lived in Palatka for the past 45 years, coming from Dogulas. She was a member of Rocky Pond Baptist Church in Douglas. She retired in 1982 after 20 years with Hudson Pulp and Paper Co., where she worked in the Bag Department.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Johnson of Palatka; son, Ralph Stoeffler of Palatka; two sisters, Dorothy Dickson of Douglas, Ga., Hazel Newell of Ambrose, Ga.; brother, Stanford O'Steen of Douglas, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Peniel Baptist Church with the Rev. Dannie Williams officiating. Burial will be in Palatka Memorial Gardens.
