Services for Mrs. Peggy Louise (Weatherly) Ford, 82 , of Wheeler will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 24, 2013 at CornerStone Church in Wheeler, TX with Rodney Weatherly, officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Peppers Family Funeral Home in Wheeler, Texas.

Mrs. Ford passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at her home in Wheeler, TX.

Peggy Ford was born March 9, 1930 in Hall Co., TX to the late Mr. Weldon O'Dell Weatherly and Mrs. Grace House. Peggy married Roy Dwight Ford September 20, 1947 He preceded her in death in May 3, 1977. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wheeler, TX.

Peggy was an avid reader and enjoyed sharing her books with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Dwight Ford; one brother, Cloys Weatherly.

Peggy is survived by; one son, Dell Ford and wife Mary of Canyon, TX; two daughters, Susan Manning Woodruff and husband Jerry of Amarillo, TX, Teresa Rose and husband Marty of Wheeler, TX: one brother Bob Weatherly and wife Glenda of Wheeler, TX; Nine grandchildren, Paige Ford and wife Pam, Brooke Ford Lerma and husband Ryan, Marcie Rose and partner Lori Vanpool, Keith Rose and wife Shonda, Marcus Rose and wife Karry, Damon Manning and wife Jennifer, Jason Manning and wife Desiree, Megan Ford , P.J. Ford; Thirteen Great grandchildren.

The Family requests in lieu of flowers a donation to American Heart Association and Special Olympics Area 16.

WHEELER — Peggy Louise Weatherly Ford, 82, of Wheeler died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in CornerStone Church in Wheeler with Rodney Weatherly officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peppers Family Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Peggy Ford was born March 9, 1930, in Hall County to Weldon O'Dell Weatherly and Grace House. Peggy married Roy Dwight Ford on Sept. 20, 1947. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1977. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wheeler, was an avid reader and enjoyed sharing her books with family and friends.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dwight Ford; and a brother, Cloys Weatherly.
