Mr. Hoffman died suddenly in his home Tuesday. He is survived by his widow, the former Joyce Kernel; two daughters, Rita Kale and Karen; his mother, Mrs. Murlile Hoffman of California; two brothers; and five sisters, including Mrs. Dean Parker of Shelbyville.
