Mr. Victor J. Marshek, 79, of 14036 Marshek Road, Maribel, died Wednesday evening, May 15, 1991 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Family memorial mass will be held Saturday, May 18, at St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown, Rev. Thomas R. Stocker will officiate with burial of his cremated remains at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Green street.
Mr. Marshek was born December 21, 1911 at Maribel, son of the late Anton and Theresa Holly Marshek. He attended schools in Rosecrans. He worked at Brillion Iron Works, retiring in 1977 and farmed in the town of Cooperstown all of his life. He was married to the former Betty Wessely on August 30, 1941. She preceded him in death May 3, 1985. Mr. Marshek was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown and WFLA Lodge 114 of Rosecrans.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Victor E. and Charlotte Marshek of Brillion, tony and Shirley Marshek of Maribel; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Diane and Edwin Genz of Maribel, Sherry and Glenn Janke of Manitowoc, Geraldine Marshek of Manitowoc; 13 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
