Mrs. Catherine Mleziva, 84, of Cooperstown, died Thursday evening at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mleziva, after an illness of three weeks.

Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday at the Saur Funeral home in Kellnersville and 9:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville, the Rev. Frank Svatek officiating. Burial will be in Greenstreet cemetery.

She was born Catherine Vodwaska in Czechoslovakia in 1865. She came to the United States with her parents when she was two years old. They settled on a farm near Maribel. In 1887 she was married to Joseph Mleziva. They settled on a farm near Cooperstown. Mr. Mleziva died 34 years ago.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anton Spevacek and Mrs. Wilmer Nuernberg of Milwaukee; a son, Frank on the home farm; a brother, John of Maribel; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 8:30 a.m. Sunday until the time of services. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
