Seaber Callahan, age 95, a resident of Royal Oak, died April 30, 2011 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born October 26, 1915 in Ricetown, KY to the late Albert and Mary (Gabbard) Callahan. Mr. Callahan was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a barber at Cal's Wayside Barber Shop until 1967. He worked at Devlieg Corporation and then Chrysler Corporation until his retirement in 1980. He was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak. He was also an ordained deacon. He was preceded in death by nine siblings. There will be a memorial visitation Friday 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Rice and the Rev. Matthew Schramm officiating. Inurnment at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
