From 1935 until his death he had been building up quite a portfolio of top names: Betty Hutton, Rita Hayworth, Bob Hope and Lana Turner whom he is credited with turning into star. Over the course of 1949, during meetings & evenings spent together, Hyde fell head over heels in love with his final discovery Marilyn Monroe. With a series of heart attacks the fatal one came on December 18th in Palm Springs. Marilyn Monroe was blamed for his death.
