OBITUARY :
MR. RICHARD EUGENE GROSSNICKLE, husband of Mrs. Naomi H. Blickenstaff Grossnickle, who resided at RFD 3, Frederick, died Sunday morning at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was born near Myersville on March 12, 1913, a son of the late Herbert A. and Sally Duble Grossnickle.

Surviving besides his foster mother, Mrs. Elsie Grossnickle Putman, two daughters, Miss Janet L. Grossnickle, Frederick, and Miss Carol E. Grossnickle, at home, two brothers, Ernest Grossnickle, RFD 3, and William Grossnickle, Myersville; two sisters, Mrs. Franklin Smith, New Market, and Mrs. Joseph Gowen, Riverdale, Md. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Grossnickle farmed in the Bloomfield area for many years, and was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ at Charlesville.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday evenings at the M. R. Etchison and Son Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Basil C. Grossnickle, pastor of the Grossnickle Church of the Brethren will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Dr. Louis R. Batzler, pastor of Faith United Church of Christ, Charlesville. Interment will be in the Grossnickle Church of the Brethren Cemetery near Myersville.
