Lim YoonTaek, leader of South Korean rock band Ulala Session, died on February 11 at the Severance Hospital in Seoul of Stage Four stomach cancer. He was 32 years old.
Ulala Session gained many devoted fans in 2011 when the band won Mnet's "Super Star K3" contest. They were well liked because of their amazing vocal skills, flashy performances, and hysterical senses of humor. Even YoonTaek, who was battling terminal cancer at the time, showed strong leadership skills and amazing vocal talent despite being gravely ill.
YoonTaek leaves behind a wife, Lee HyeRim and a daughter, Lim RiDan. His funeral was held on February 14.
