Fortanato "Louis" Zanot, 50 years, 2 months, was born to Angelo Zanot and Filomena (Allessandrini) Zanot. He was an immigrant from a part of Austria that ceded to Italy, and a miner (like his wife's father, who immigrated from Italy), twelve years his wife's senior when she, Virginia Marchello Zanot, gave birth to their first child at age 16, Annie Margaret Zanot, born 7 am, 12-22-1916, when they lived at 237 N. Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ. He resided at 308 E. Sheldon in Prescott at the time of his death. Louis had immigrated to the United States 31 years before his death and had been a resident of Arizona, specifically Prescott, for 23 years. Although he had been employed as a miner and bartender, his occupation was listed as "Clerk" on his Death Certificate.
