Mrs. Barbara Wilson Sutton, 18 year old daughter of Lewis Wilson, died Tuesday, January 15 at 8 p.m. at Norton's Infirmary in Louisville. She suffered a fatal heart attack about five hours after giving birth to a son, Lewis Rickman Sutton. Funeral services were held Friday, January 18 at 2 p.m. from the Campbellsville Baptist Church with Dr. J. Chester Badgett in charge. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. The pallbearers were Rufus Hansford, John Medley, Bill Roe, George Buchanan, Joe Bertram, and Billy Wheeler. The flower girls were Sondra Bertram, Mildred Graham, Judith Whitt, Carolyn Shreve, Linda Lucas, Susan Whitt, Ermine Phillips, Betty Loy, Patty Beard, Anne Mardis, Linda Newcomb, and Barbara Baldwin. Mrs. Sutton, daughter of Lewis Wilson and the late Josephine Watson Wilson, was born July 18, 1938 in Campbellsville. She was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Teddy Joe Sutton on June 9, 1956. They had been making their home in Louisville since marriage. Sutton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sutton of Lancaster. Survivors, beside her husband, son and father, are one brother, Lawrence Lee Wilson, Campbellsville; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Wilson, Campbellsville and Mr. and Mrs. Lester E. Watson, Evansville, Indiana.
