Patricia was born on Cape Cod and grew up in Marstons Mills. She was a Barnstable High School graduate and long time employee of the Colonial Gas Company until her retirement in 1997. Pat was an avid "birder" and she loved to travel, enjoying many wonderful trips with her husband and friends.
She selflessly, spent countless hours as a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul's Thrift Shop in Cotuit. Patricia was a devout communicant of Christ the King Church. Pat had an infectious laugh and zest for life which brought her many cherished friends. Her inner strength and beauty was and will remain an inspiration to all who were blessed to know her and she will be deeply missed.
Along with her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Richard and David of Marstons Mills; her step children, Holly White, Michael Gifford, Ric Gifford, Jenny Beaudet and Samantha Sherman along with their spouses; many loving grandchildren; great grandchildren nieces and nephews and was the God mother to Michael Gifford, Jr.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 3rd from 4:00 – 7:00p.m. in the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Rd. (Rte. 28), Marstons Mills. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 4th at 10:00a.m. in Christ the King Chapel, 3 Job's Fishing Rd., Mashpee Commons, Mashpee, MA 02649 followed by burial in Marstons Mills Cemetery, Rte. 149, Marstons Mills. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Shop, 4463 Falmouth Rd., Cotuit, MA 02635.
