Mrs. May Yoders Crayne, 83, of Waynesburg, R. D. 2, died at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 1968, following a long illness.
She was born January 21, 1885, in Morgan Township, a daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Corwin Yoders. Her husband, David H. Crayne, whom she married June 27, 1905, died July 13, 1946.
Mrs. Crayne had lived most of her life in the Jefferson area where she was a member of the Jefferson Methodist Church and was its oldest member.
Mrs. Crayne had been a practical nurse.
Surviving are one daughter, Myrtle, wife of George Gwynn, of Jefferson, R. D. 1; one son, Robert Crayne, of Jefferson, R. D. 1; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Isabella McCuen, of Colerain, Ohio; two nieces and one nephew.
One daughter, Hazel, two brothers and five sisters are deceased.
