Frank Nesper, 85, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, farmer died early Friday morning at a Manitowoc hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Reif Mills. The Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The Town of Franklin resident was born at Manitowoc June 15, 1872, and married Anna Oswald at Reif Mills Feb. 19, 1906. In addition to farming,Mr. Nesper worked many years with threshing crews, served as the town's
road commissioner for a number of years and was a former treasurer of the school board of Riverside School.
Surviving are his wife, a son Raymond of Manitowoc; five daughters, Mrs.Anton Nemetz of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, Mrs. Fred Karl of (can't read), Pritzl,Mrs. Frank Braun and Mrs. Lawrence Wallander of Rt. 1, Cato; a brother,John of Reedsville; two sisters, Mrs. Richard Duelos of Chicago and Mrs.Henry Hintz of St. Mary's, Nebr. and 15 grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
