MARIE ANDERSON
Mrs. Edgar "Marie" Anderson, age 85, a former resident of Little Falls, MN died Thursday, May 26, 1994 at St. Therese Nursing Home in New Hope.
Funeral services were Saturday, May 28, 1994 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father LeRoy Kremer officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Marie was born in Morrison County on March 2, 1909 to the late Joseph and Rose (Super) Korll. She was united in marriage to Edgar W. Anderson on November 24, 1932. Together they developed the Anderson Addition in SE Little Falls. Marie had resided in Little Falls most of her life prior to a pedestrian accident in Little Falls two years ago. She had worked as a school secretary, at Camp Ripley and at Von's Supply. She was an active parishoner of Our Lady of Lourdes parish serving as a member of the Rosary Society, Christian Mothers, and Third Order of the daughters of Isabella, serving as Regent and Past Regent, Crosier Apostlate and was a "pink lady" volunteer at St. Gabriel's Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Gordon of Columbia Heights, daughters, Mrs. Al(Betty) Leslie of Woodstock, IL, and Mrs. Jim (Karen) Salitros of Coon Rapids; a sister, Pauline Doucette of Little Falls; 11 granchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edgar, sisters, Agnes and Theresa; a brother, Joe.
Casket bearers will be Gordon Anerson, Albert Leslie, Jim Salitros, John Leslie, Christopher and Jonathon Salitros.
