Inez Baker Kinard, age 81, of Warren died Tuesday, January 5, 1988 at Wagnon Place. She was born in Bradley County on December 18, 1906, a daughter of James Thomas and Nannie Milholland Baker. She was the widow of Cone Kinard, who preceded her in death on September 18, 1986.

Mrs. Kinard, a homemaker, was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Marie Jenkins, Mrs. Jo Jenkins, and Mrs. Lummie Reynolds, all of Warren; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtice O'Neal of Warren and Mrs. Gladys Cooper of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1:30pm Thursday, January 7, at Frazer's Chapel of the Chimes with Rev. David Spraggins officiating. Music was provided by Robert Green, soloist and Connie Jones, organist. Vocal selections were "How Great Thou Art" and Beyond the Sunset." Interment was at Ebenezer Cemetery near Warren by Frazer's Funeral Home.

Keith Neely, Durwood Lyon, Theron Herring, Tommy Spraggins, Lovette Reaves, Charles O'Neal, Cecil Carmical, and Jack Adams serves as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Bryan Adams, JC Spraggins, Spencer Woodard, Prather O'Neal, and Dr. Kerry Pennington.
