LOIS METCALF ALLEN

Lois Metcalf Allen, 77, of 80 Ivy Hill Road, Weaverville, N.C. died Tuesday, May 17, 1994 in Memorial Mission Hospital, Asheville, N.C.

A native of Madison County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Marion Lee Metcalf and Theodosia Treadway Metcalf and wife of Mack Clarence Allen, who died April 15, 1991. She was a homemaker and attended East Fork Freewill Baptist Church.

She was survived by her daughter, Susan Diane Allen Metcalf of Weaverville, N.C.; a sister, Dorothy Metcalf of Marshall, N.C.; a brother, Virgil George Metcalf of Asheville, N.C.; grandchildren, Elaine Phillips and John Metcalf.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, 1994 at Capps Funeral Home with the Revs. Garold Metcalf, Leonard Cole and Therie Wheeler officiating. Burial was in Metcalf Cemetery.
