George F. Tatro, 77, of 9 Creedway, a retired employee of F. W. Woolworth Company, died Saturday at Morton Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Marjorie L. (Donaghy) Tatro. For 23 years, he worked at F.W. Woolworth Company of Taunton until retiring as stock manager in 1963. Born in Raynham, son of the late George and Rebecca (Noonan) Tatro, he was educated in Taunton schools, was a lifelong Taunton area resident and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Philip Tatro of Trabitz, Germany and George F. Tatro of Hollywood, FL; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas G. (M. Jean) Vaughn of Taunton; and one sister, Mrs. Paul L. (Helen) Driscoll of Taunton. Also two brothers, Albert Tatro and Harold J. Tatro, both of Taunton; and eight grandchildren.
