Lena Foster Pinkerton, 81, of Ferrum, died Sunday, July 30, 2000, at R.J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital in Stuart.
She was born in Patrick County on August 11, 1918, and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Della Shelton Foster. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Pinkerton; one son, Richard Pinkerton; and several brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Moody Funeral Home chapel in Stuart with the Rev. James Cockram officiating. Burial will be in the Turner family cemetery.
