BOWMAN, DOROTHY MARE KLEIN "DOT," 93 of Louisville, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Nazareth Home.

She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. James Catholic Church for over 45 years where she was a member of the Altar Society.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 68 years, William F. Bowman, Sr.; her parents, John Frederick and Bernadine VonBokern Klein; a grandchild, Jill Graves and 11 siblings.

She is survived by her sons, William F. Bowman Jr. (Lynn) and Randal F. Bowman (Jill); daughters; Carole D. Graves (Lawrence), Barbara J. Stewart, Mary A. Kammerer (John) of Cincinnati, OH, Dotty M. Wettig (Philip) and Elaine M. Terry; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church at the corner of Bardstown Road and Edenside Avenue with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret avenues.

A special thank you to the caregivers and pastoral staff at The Nazareth Home for the care of her health, human dignity and nurturing of her faithfulness to Jesus Christ.
