Marion was the fourth of twelve children born to John Klein and Bernadina Von Bokern. She never married. For many years she worked as a clerk at a local bank. Marion died of carcinoma of they thyroid at St. Joseph Infirmary at the age of 51.

Note: She and her sister Mary Edna are buried in the same plot and both of their names are engraved on the same headstone.
