Funeral services for Abigail Reynolds, 77, Goodwell resident for the past 15 years, who died early Saturday morning in a local hospital, were conducted at 2 pm Monday from the Goodwell Baptist church.
Rev Bryant Ledgerwood, pastor officiated, and burial was in the Texhoma cemetery under the direction of the Henson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reynolds has been a resident of northeastern Oklahoma since she came here in 1916. After residing near Laverne for several years, she moved to a farm near Texhoma with her husband, the late Rufus Reynolds, and later moved to Goodwell.
Casket bearers were Robert Skillings, Mike Smith, Dean Strain, H B Hale. M P Rexroad and T M Raburn. Singers were Max Hiebent and Verna Lee Millukan both soloist, accompanied by Mrs H H Finnel, organist. Reader was Edda Kay Kennedy
Survivors include five daughters Mrs. Mintie Walker, Texhoma, Mrs. Vera Greer, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Christella Peterson Wichita. Kans., Mrs. Alisha Sick Statesville, N C , and Mrs. Gladys Peters, Goodwell, two sons, Ashby Reynolds. Kansas City Kans., and Ford Reynolds Wichita Kan., and one brother, Clayton Smith, Huntsville, Ark.
