Anton Heinzen Funeral Will Be Held Wednesday Morning
St. Nazianz.--(Special)--Sunday morning at 1:15 o'clock Anton Heinzen died at the age of 68 at his farm home near Alverno. Mr. Heinzen was in ill health for many months but Friday his condition grew suddenly worse and he died suddenly of heart failure.
The funeral will be held Wednesday from St. Joseph's Catholic church at Alverno at 10 a.m. with burial in the adjoining church cemetery.
The Rev. L. J. Specht will officiate.
Mr. Heinzen was born August 26, 1868, in the town of Eaton, near St. Nazianz, and he was the son of the late Peter Joseph and Catherine Heinzen. On June 20, 1893, he was married to Cecelia Schuler of St. Nazianz at the St. Gregory's church by the late Rev. P. A. Mutz, and following their marriage, the couple lived on a farm near School Hill.
After a few years they sold the farm and moved to St. Nazianz, where Mr. Heinzen followed the carpenter trade for three and one-half years. Twenty-six years ago they bought the farm home where they lived up to his death.
Survivors include his widow and eight children, Mrs. Hugo Gerharz, Mrs. Joseph Zima, and Louis of Manitowoc, Edward and Mrs. Clarence Klingeisen of the town of Manitowoc Rapids, Loretta of Evanston, and Helen and Norbert at home. Surviving brothers and sisters are Joseph
of Phlox, Mrs. Caroline __son of Manitowoc, Peter, Francis and Mrs. Ben Gehrig of St. Nazianz, Mrs. Barbara Berkholtz of Milwaukee, and Jacob of Marshfield. There also are 10 surviving grand children. Two children, four sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Heinzen was a member of Holy Name society and the Catholic Order of Foresters of St. Joseph church of Alverno, and members will attend the funeral in a body.
The body may be viewed at the home from now until the funeral.
