Miss Loretta M. Heinzen, age 91, a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died
Monday morning, September 22, 1997, at the home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 1997, at Holy
Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial
will be Rev. Gerald Foley with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born November 15, 1905, in the town of Meeme, daughter of the late Anton
and Cecelia Schuler Heinzen. She attended local schools including the Manitowoc
Business College. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Lacross Dredging and
Construction Company of Chicago, Ill., until her retirement in 1971. Her memberships
include the Catholic Womens Club, Christian Women of Holy Innocents, and was a
volunteer worker at Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Clarence Klingeisen, rural
Manitowoc; her brother, Edward Heinzen, Manitowoc. She is also survived by many
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Loretta was also preceded in death
by three sisters, Verona Gerharz, Rose Zima, Helen Windus; three brothers, Theodore,
Louis and Norbert Heinzen.
Friends may call at Holy Innocents Catholic Church Wednesday morning, September 24,
1997, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
