JOHN G. VOGEL (d. 1969)

John G. Vogel, 80, of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died Saturday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Rev. E. A. Radey will
officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Vogel was born Dec. 25, 1888, at Whitelaw, son of the late John and Mary Spaeth Vogel. He lived at Aurora, Ill., while he worked for the Railway Co., retiring in 1958, and in 1968 he came to Manitowoc. He was a member of the Brother-hood of Railway Workers Lodge No. 790.

Survivors include three brothers, Richard of Newton, Frank of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, and Bernard of Manitowoc; two sisters, Sister M. Robert of Holy Family Convent, Rt. 1, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Daniel Geiger of Brillion; and nieces and nephews. Five sisters and a brother preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home where at 7:30 o'clock this Monday evening the Rosary will be recited.
