Abijah Casto, aged eighty-one years, died at 9:15 o'clock Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jane Lambert, of North Vine street.
His death was due to catarrh of the stomach, from which he had been a sufferer for the past many months.
Mr. Casto is survived by the daughter at whose home he died, and by three sons, all of this city. They are Henry S., George and Washington.
The funeral services will be conducted at the Vine Street Methodist Protestant church at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, the Rev. A. W. Conn officiating. Interment will be made in the City cemetery under the direction of M. G. Tindall.
