Georgia Elizabeth Babcock, wife of Charles F. Babcock, died at her home in Stillwater, 514 Lewis street, Saturday, August 2, 1924, aged 49 years, 6 months and 6 days. Acute Bright's disease was the immediate cause of her death.
Funeral services were held at the residence Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. A.F. Wasson, pastor of the First Baptist church, of which the decedent was a member. Interment was in Fair Lawn cemetery.
George Elizabeth Abercrombie, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Abercrombie, was born in Beloit, Kan., and was one of nine children. The family came to Stillwater in 1892. She was married to Charles F. Babcock March 21, 1905. Her husband and two children, Walter Roland, aged 17, and Winona Margaret, aged 16, survive her.
Among the relatives and friends from outside Stillwater who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. P.D. Miller, of Trinidad, Colo.; Mrs. Louis Sennitt, Glencoe; Mr. and Mrs. Grooms, Glencoe; Mrs. Emma Peck, Greensburg, Kan.; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Benedict and Mrs. Minnie Eaton, Chandler; Mr. and Mrs. G.D. Abercrombie, Tulsa.
