They lived on the home farm on Alfred Dimick Lane and built the first carding mill in Lyme, NH. Although modern Dimicks say the brick house on Pinnacle Lane at the junction of Alfred Dimick Lane was built by Alfred Dimick, it would seem more reasonable that Adolphus built it since all the records and people agree that it was built about 1820 when Alfred was 8 years old.

Adolphus was the Selectman in Lyme NH 1811-1813, 1815-1816.
