Katie married Silas C Stephens in Hamblen Co., Tennessee March 8, 1883; together they had 7 children: John Rufus Stephens, Birdie (Stephens) Chaney, George David Stephens, Elijah Porter Stephens, William Ike Stephens, and Jesse and Rosie Stephens, both of whom died in childhood in TN.
