Lawrence (Larry) Peik, age 63, of 115 Fourth St., Reedsville, died Friday evening, November 22, 1996, at home.
Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, November 25, 1996, at Peace United Church of Christ, Potter. Rev. Marc Axelrod will officiate with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum.
He was born May 31, 1933, in Chilton, son of the late Oscar and Viola Hanson Peik.
He married Delores Brandes June 30, 1956, in Reedsville. He was employed by the Brillion Iron Works and the Manitowoc County Highway Department for 29 years. He was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Potter, the Amvets Post #1032, the American Legion. He served in the United States Army from 1953-1955 in Korea. He was a Reedsville volunteer fireman for 31 years. Larry enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and stock car racing.
Survivors include his wife, Delores of 40 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Richard Wasmer, Valders, Kim and David Hintz, Potter; four sons and one daughter-in-law, Terry and Brenda Peik, Reedsville, Daniel and Special friend Joanne Stache, Reedsville, David Peik, Whitelaw, Ronald Peik, Arlington, Texas; 10 grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cindy Buckberger, Fort Atkinson, Erna and LeRoy Bowe, Waukesha, LaVern and Neil Avery, Manitowoc; many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Earl Buckberger.
Friends may call at Peace United Church of Christ from 2:30 p.m. until the time of service on Monday.
