His Father died when he was a child and his mother came to Genesee County, where he grew to manhood. He married to Sarah A. Rawlins 6-1-1860. After marriage they lived Genesee County until 1872 when they moved to Clare County. Mrs. Branch died in Farewell County in 1874. In 1875, Mr. Branch was married
to Marica Vorheis. In 1885 they moved to a farm in Thomastown where they lived until Mrs. Branch died in 1910. He leaves 2 sons and 4 daughters.
