C. Fred Dubis 1914 - 2009 ADAMS C. Fred Dubis, 94, of 6 Dubis St., died Thursday afternoon, Feb. 5, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Conn. He was born in Adams on Oct. 25, 1914, son of Anthony and Katherine Ptak Dubis, and attended local schools.

Mr. Dubis worked as a millwright in the Power Transformer division of General Electric Co. in Pittsfield for 35 years, retiring Jan. 1, 1977.

He was a communicant of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish. He was a member of the General Electric Quarter Century and Pensioner's Clubs.

His wife, the former Wanda Mazinski, whom he married Aug. 22, 1941, died Feb. 12, 1991. He leaves two daughters, Jacqueline Dubis Seuss of Dedham, and Elaine Dubis Kittler of Bloomfield, Conn., and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by seven brothers and by one sister. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
