Mrs. Dubis was employed by the former Pownal (Vt.) Tanning Co., retiring in 1973. She had also worked at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates for many years, until the mill ceased operations in 1957.
She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality and St. Michael's Society.
She also was a member of the Adams Senior Citizens. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and gardening.
Her husband, Joseph Dubis, whom she married Sept. 14, 1931, died June 6, 1974. She leaves two sons, Leonard J. Dubis and Daniel J. Dubis, both of Adams; a sister, Gladys Czubryt of Adams; and two grandsons.
She leaves two grandsons, Kevin Dubis of Savoy and Jeffrey Dubis of Fort Kent, Maine; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Stanley, Peter, Frank and Walter Wol, and a sister, Helen Garvin.
