ADOLPH RUZEK

Adolph Ruzek, 63, of 822 Summit St., Manitowoc, died early Sunday morning at his home following a heart attack.

He was a commercial fisherman.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Richard Trump officiating.

Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.

Mr. Ruzek was born March 1, 1896, in Kewaunee County.

He married Leona Raeck at Colby, Wis., Aug. 29, 1923, and the couple settled at Two Rivers where Mr. Ruzek was engaged as a commercial fisherman. The couple came to Manitowoc eight years ago where Mr. Ruzek and a son, Harlen, continued their fishing operations.

A veteran of World War I from April 27, 1918 until May 27, 1919, Mr. Ruzek was a private with Company B of the 313th Infantry. Part of his military service was overseas.

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Harlen of Manitowoc and (private); a daughter, (private); a brother, Matt of Waukegan, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Anna Horak of Wausau; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home.
