Emerson E. Allison, 91, of Nebo, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday (Aug. 22, 1969-kr) at the Regency Nursing Home in St. Louis. He was born near Nebo, Dec. 11, 1877, son of Henry and Elizabeth Vaughn Allison. His first wife, the former Lillie Shelby, died 1937. His second wife, Opal Shelby Harper Allison, died in 1953. Survivors include a son, Wayne of Wisconsin; two daughters, Mrs. Mossaline Zumwalt of Nebo and Mrs. Ercel Shive, also of Nebo; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mr. Allison was supervisor of Spring Creek Township for 16 years and for several years ran a general store in Nebo. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Christian church in Nebo with Rev. Joe Maynard and Rev. Jerry Ezell officiating.
