FIRES AND OTHER CASUALTIES.

At Philadelphia a fire in the Albion print works on Water street destroyed the entire stock, worth $50,000, and the stock of several other firms in the same building. The total loss is $150,000. The charred body of an unknown man was found on the second floor when the fire was subdued. The body taken out has been identified as that of John Meyers, foreman of one of the fire companies. This was the only life lost. Insurance, $25,000.
