Accidentally Killed
Incident Details: At 0935 hours, during poor weather, Hotspur BT 822 entered cloud, pilot cast off from tug and apparently stalled and lost control, crashing in field near Collingbourne Ducis. (6 soldiers of 6 Air Landing Brigade also reported killed passengers in glider.

Crew: SSgt E A Jeffs, Sgt P D Taylor plus five soldiers (including Campbell)
