1924 - 2013
Our sweet, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Alice passed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father after a long struggle with Alzheimer's on Thursday March 14, 2013. She was surrounded by her loved ones both here and on the other side.
She was born August 13, 1924, in Provo, Utah, to Anna and Soren Mikkelsen. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many capacities. She married her sweetheart, Cliff A. Anderson on September 19, 1953, and their family was sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti Utah Temple. They made their home in Orem, Utah. She accomplished many things in her wonderful life and enjoyed bowling, craft clubs and church activities, but serving her family was the joy of her life.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Cliff; daughter Nancy (Ron) Ewell; three grandsons: Gary Ewell, Danny Ewell and Brody Anderson. Alice is survived by sons: Blake (Chris) Anderson, Eric (Vashael) Anderson; daughters: Shana (Lynn) Williams, and Christy (Lynn) Baldwin; 19 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. We are grateful for her many contributions and loving guidance in all the lives that she touched. She was loved by many and well known for her happy countenance.
Our deepest appreciation goes to the Carrington Court Staff for loving and caring for her for four years. We enjoyed being a part of your family. Thanks for being part of ours.
