Miss Anna Whitworth, was born on August 28, 1895 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, the daughter of John Robert Whitworth (1857–1914) and his 2nd wife Matilda "Florence" (Oldham) (Whitworth) Hammons (1874–1933). {John and Florence were married about 1894, and Florence's 2nd husband was Asberry Lee Hammons.}

Anna was 52 years old and single and had been very ill for five weeks when she died October 1, 1947 at the home of her half-sister Mrs Robert Woodson of Peacher Mill Road off Route 5 in rural Clarksville, Montgomery County.

Survivors included her half-sister and heer half-brothere Harvey Whitworth of the Henrietta community.

Funeral Services were held on October 2nd at the chapel of McReynolds Funeral Home, and burial was in Wall Cemetery at Fredonia, Tennessee.
