HILDEGARD SCHULTZ

Hildegard M. Schultz, age 82, of Reedsville, passed away in the waiting arms of her Savior on Sept. 6, 2006, at North Ridge Care Center in Manitowoc.

She was born Aug. 7, 1924, in the town of Rockland, daughter of the late August and Lydia (Jentsch) Bratz.

She married Gilford Schultz. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 2003.

Hildgard worked at the Leverenz Shoe Company in Valders and then at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein. She was a member of St. John-St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville, the Ladies Aid, the Homemakers Club, and the Quilting Group.

Hildegard is survived by her children: Roger (Erdie) Schultz of Reedsville; Steven (Judy) Schultz of Mesa, Ariz.; Bonnie (Ralph Jr.) Zutz of Brillion; nine grandchildren: Rich Kari) Schultz; Sue (Jay) lson; Lynn (Mark) Fischer; Curt (Brenda) Schultz; Samuel Schultz; Chris Horne; Kenneth Zutz; Amy (JKyle) Kleist: Travis (Erin) Zutz; nine great-grandchildren: Misty and Amber Schultz; Emersyn and Bennett Olson; Andrew, Jack and Ethan Fischer; David and Taylor Borchtrup; baby Zutz arriving in October 2006; baby Kleist arriving in February 2007. She is further survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law: Leona Burich of Reedsville: Lydia (Clarence) Kolberg of New Holstein: Virginia (Herbert) Maas of Reedsville; a brother and sister-in-law: August (Esther) Bratz of Appleton; and three sisters-in-law: Germain Brat of Brillion: Marilyn Bratz of Reedsville; and Helen Bratz of New Holstein.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Gifford; an infant son; two great-grandchildren: Garrod Olson and Baby Fischer; three brothers: Oscar Bratz, John Bratz, Harold Bratz; one sister: Lucille Wagner; and a brother-in-law: Adolph Burich.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville with the Rev. Timonthy Nommensen officiating. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. The Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville assisted the family with arrangements.
