VIOLET L. STANULL

Violet L. Stanull, age 83, of 2124 33rd St., Two Rivers, died peacefully Thursday evening, April 19, 2007, at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Violet was born June 7, 1923, in Luxemberg, a daughter of the late William and Anna Borchardt Boettcher. She attended St. John's Grade School and Two Rivers Vocational School.

On Aug. 9, 1947, she married Roland "Sputcy" Stanull in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death Nov. 9, 1988.

Violet was employed as a press operator at Paragon Electric for many years until her retirement.

She was a longtime member of St. John's Church and the Ladies Society; the Two Rivers Senior Center; and she enjoyed bowling, having claimed a state championship in Milwaukee years ago.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Delores Wisniewski and Alice Wilker; and by four brothers: Gerhart, Ornie, Lester and Roland Boettcher.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, April 23, 2007, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. David Scherbarth will officiate at the service, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. John's Lutheran Church after 10 a.m. Monday until the time of service at noon. There will be no Sunday evening visitation. Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Stanull family with funeral arrangements.
