She was a native of Banks County, Ga., daughter of the late William Thomas and Marcenia Adamson, wife of the late Rudolph "Bud" Calhoun, retired from Firestone Mills after 28 years of service, former member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Homer, Ga., member of Midway Baptist Church, Gastonia.
SURVIVORS: Sons and daughters-in-law, William and Judy Calhoun, Gastonia, Terry and Cynthia Calhoun, Oak Island; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Eula Adamson, Lula, Ga.; twin sister, Irene Forrester, Homer, Ga.; grandchildren, Robin Hensley, Peter Eubanks, Roger, Richard, Melanie, Kelley and Allison Calhoun; five great-grandchildren
