MRS. WILBUR DEWATER DIES MONDAY AT MONTGOMERY AFTER ILLNESS
Montgomery, May 8, -- Mrs Wilbur DeWater, 42, resident of Branch County for many years, died Monday at home here following six weeks' illness. She had been in poor health for 2 years.
Her husband and parents, Mr. and Mrs, Frank Chapman, Sr. of Bronson; Two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Covey of Tekonsha, and Rolene at home; a son Nelson at home; two stepsons, Hugh and Donald of near Albion; four brothers and four sisters, including Mrs Jessie Bell of Coldwater, survive.
Mrs. DeWater was born March 12, 1892 in England, and came to this country with her parents when a girl of six years. Most of her life was spent in and around Branch County.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Halls Corners Church with burial in Bronson Cemetary.
Alice died from breast Cancer.
