1860 - Ashtabula, Ohio Census, Mary is age 32, with her husband John and sons John M. and George.

1870 - Corry Census, with husband John and three children, John, George and Mary.

1880 - Corry Census, Mary 51, indicates widowed, states both parents were born in Switzerland. She is living with her son George 21. [Last name spelled Shiley on this census.]

1900 - Corry Census, Mary is age 72, widowed, three children born, one living. [John M. Sheely.]

1910 - Corry Census, age 81, widowed.

1911 - Feburary 27, March 2, Obituaries --- Corry Journal

"Mrs. Mary Sheely, of East Main street, the aged mother of Select Councilman John M. Sheely, passed away at her home last evening, aged 84 years."

"AGED RESIDENT DEAD - Mrs. Mary Sheely of East Main street, the aged mother of Select Councilman, John M. Sheely, passed away at her home last evenings about 9 o'clock, aged 84 years. Mrs. Sheely had been ill about three weeks. She is survived by the one son mentioned above. Funeral arrangements will not be made until the arrival of Mr. Sheely from Daytona, FL where he has been spending the winter. Deceased was one of the earliest settlers of Corry, having come here in the early 60's and been a life-long resident of the city, known and respected by a large circle of friends."

"MRS SHEELY LAID AT REST - The last tribute of respect was paid to the memory of one of Corry's oldest residents, Mrs. Mary Sheely, when relatives, friends and neighbors assembled at the home of her son John Sheely of E. Main street at 2 o'clock this afternoon, and funeral services were held.

Rev. William Hall, of the Lutheran Church, was the officiating clergyman. The floral expressions of esteem and sympathy were many and very beautiful.

The pall-bearers were Will Wilcox, A. E. Pettit, John Patterson, Sam Sweet, H.A. Guigon and J.D. Bently. *THE REMAINS WERE LAID AT REST IN PINE GROVE CEMETERY IN THE FAMILY LOT WHERE REPOSE THOSE OF THE HUSBAND* AND SON OF THE DECEASED. Among those attending were Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Campbell, of Warren." [Anna Sheely Campbell, former wife of George W. Sheely],
