Funeral services for Coy Phillips, 83, 605 N. Vicksburg, will be at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. James T. Bryant officiating and burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mr. Phillips died at 12 am Sunday, October 13, 1974 at the Fountain Nursing Home in Marion. A retired farmer, he served in the Army during World War I.
Born in Creal Springs September 20, 1891, he was the son of Milton M. and Sarah E. Hampton Phillips. He married Mabel Moore October 8, 1947 in Osceola AR and she survives. Other survivors include sister, Mrs. Eva Hawkins of Marion. His parents and a sister preceded him in death.
